Mini Claire's Haul || Ear Cuffs and Transfer Tattoos...

Hello everyone, I just thought I'd do a quick post on a mini haul from Claire's. I haven't been in Claire's for a very long time but they currently have a 3 for 2 deal going on in store so I thought I would check out what they had.

There wasn't much that caught my eye until I saw the transfer tattoos. I fell in love with the designs. And then I saw these lovely ear cuffs. So I bought these 3 items and thought they would be fun for just playing around.

As a a blogger and new instagrammer I thought the transfer tattoos would be good to jazz up my hands if any product photos needed to be done where my hands are involved.
And I got the ear cuffs just because I thought they were very pretty and they could spice up casual day wear nicely.

The flowery ear cuff and the transfer tattoos were £5.50 each and the winged ear cuff was £6.00 but with the 3 for 2 deal came to a total of £11.50 so pretty happy with what I got.

On the Claire's website they currently have a 75% off sale on certain items (these are the prices on the website now) -

The tattoos lasted about a day but that was through washing my car, showering and washing my hands carefully a few times. I don't mind that they don't last long, I just thought they were pretty.

If you wanted to know my nails are stick on nails from Boots by Wah London - Marble Zone.
(currently buy 1 get the 2nd one half price...)

As you can probably tell I have joined the masses and have started obsessing over gold shiny things.
Hope you enjoyed my post!

Barry M || Sunset Daylight Curing Polish...

Barry M have recently come out with a new range of daylight curing gel-like nail varnishes.

I have always loved the nail varnishes from Barry M as they are affordable, the quality is amazing and the range of colours is incredible.

I was in Boots and couldn't help myself as these were on a buy one get one half price deal and I just really wanted to try them.

The main reason I wanted to test this range out was that every nail varnish hates me, it chips in under a day and never stays on.

There are seven colours to choose from in this range and a special top coat that goes with them.

Do It Like A Nude - A white based nude.
Peach For The Stars - A bright peachy pink/orange.
I've Been Pinkin' - A bright pink.
You Drive Me Navy - An electric navy blue.
Fuschia Generation - A deep fuschia pink.
Can't Get You Out Of My Red - A classic red.
The Way You Make Me Teal - A bright blue/green teal.

I loved the look of all of the colours but in the end I chose the colour Peach for the Stars along with the daylight curing top coat. I may have to go back for the teal colour.

The formulation is like any other Barry M nail varnish and has very good pigmentation and goes on smoothly. I applied two coats of the colour, let them dry and then added the top coat. You end up with gloriously shiney nails.

It dries pretty fast, which I wasn't expecting, so I managed not to smudge anything and it managed to stay on my nails a bit longer than normal nail varnish - a whole 2 days before it chipped!!

You can buy them here from Superdrug, here from Boots and from the Barry M Website
They are £4.99 each which is a little more than their other nail varnish ranges but still a very reasonable price.

I hope you enjoyed this post and also found it useful.

Boots || Nose Pore Strips...

I recently got into using nose strips and not wanting to spend lots of money I went for the Boots own brand ones. In this pack of Boots Tea Tree & Witch Hazel Nose Pore Strips you get 6 strips all individually wrapped for £4.99, I got these in a 3 for 2 deal but currently are in a BOGOF deal.

I found these really easy to use, following the instructions by wetting my nose, applying the strip, leaving for 15 minutes and then slowly peeling it off. I have only used these twice so far and have already noticed a big difference in my blackheads & pores.
I find the form of these very good for shaping around the nose contours.
They really work well for removing blackheads and made my nose super smooth after peeling it off.
A gross yet good fact about these is that you can see if they have worked or not by seeing the blackheads stuck to the sheet. Being that they are tea tree based I thought they would have a strong scent but they really don't, it's very subtle.

I would definitely recommend trying these as they have worked for both my boyfriend and I.

Hope you had a lovely day!
