Barry M || Sunset Daylight Curing Polish...

Barry M have recently come out with a new range of daylight curing gel-like nail varnishes.

I have always loved the nail varnishes from Barry M as they are affordable, the quality is amazing and the range of colours is incredible.

I was in Boots and couldn't help myself as these were on a buy one get one half price deal and I just really wanted to try them.

The main reason I wanted to test this range out was that every nail varnish hates me, it chips in under a day and never stays on.

There are seven colours to choose from in this range and a special top coat that goes with them.

Do It Like A Nude - A white based nude.
Peach For The Stars - A bright peachy pink/orange.
I've Been Pinkin' - A bright pink.
You Drive Me Navy - An electric navy blue.
Fuschia Generation - A deep fuschia pink.
Can't Get You Out Of My Red - A classic red.
The Way You Make Me Teal - A bright blue/green teal.

I loved the look of all of the colours but in the end I chose the colour Peach for the Stars along with the daylight curing top coat. I may have to go back for the teal colour.

The formulation is like any other Barry M nail varnish and has very good pigmentation and goes on smoothly. I applied two coats of the colour, let them dry and then added the top coat. You end up with gloriously shiney nails.

It dries pretty fast, which I wasn't expecting, so I managed not to smudge anything and it managed to stay on my nails a bit longer than normal nail varnish - a whole 2 days before it chipped!!

You can buy them here from Superdrug, here from Boots and from the Barry M Website
They are £4.99 each which is a little more than their other nail varnish ranges but still a very reasonable price.

I hope you enjoyed this post and also found it useful.

Timeless Truth || Green Tea Soothing Mask (*)...

There is a site for Beauty Bloggers where you can sign up and then request from the brands available, different products to review on your blog - The Bloggers Hub.

I received this mask a while ago but hadn't got round to using it until now. Here's a link to The Beauty Mask's website where you can find all the varieties of face masks they have available.

As I have oily and spot prone skin I chose this Green Tea based mask (*).
The ingredients are Green Tea Extract, Hyaluronic Acid, Aloe Vera Extract and Chamomile.
All of these have; anti-inflammatory, cell protecting & moisturising qualities to them. So great for someone who has oily/spot prone skin but is also worried about the signs of ageing.

I love the fact it is a fabric mask and that you don't have to wash anything off afterwards, which means there is a lot less mess to deal with.

The mask itself looks exactly like the picture on the front of the packaging (below), a checkered green and white fabric mask with holes for your eyes, nose and mouth.

The process is very simple, you put the mask on a freshly cleansed face and leave it on for 20 minutes. During this time you may scare yourself, family members & boyfriends, as it does look like something from a horror film. However once these 20 minutes are up you get to take it off and massage the excess products into your beautifully soft and hydrated face.

My face felt soft, supple and soothed after using this mask.

I've only used fabric face masks a few times but am beginning to enjoy them more than normal face masks.

These Fusion fabric masks cost £4.90 each or £23.50 for a box of 5.
They also have a Luxury mask range which vary in price but are a little more expensive.

I hope you enjoyed this post as much as I enjoyed using it.

First Impressions || Sebamed Clear Face (*) Skincare...

I kindly got sent these after being part of a twitter party organised by The Bloggers Hub where different brands had various products available for us (bloggers) to request. I only requested one of their items but they messaged me saying I was to receive all the items shown on the twitter party which I was very excited about, not only that but I received three of each!

I have been using this Clear Face range by Sebamed for a few nights now and am really enjoying it.

All of these products have a pH balance of 5.5 which is the closest to our skin's natural pH value.

I use the Cleansing Bar first by wetting it and rubbing it into my skin, then I use the Cleansing Facial Toner on a cotton pad to super cleanse my face and lastly the Care Gel to moisturise my face.

First impressions of the Cleansing Bar, which is soap and alkali free, is very soothing and has no smell. The Facial Toner has a slightly sweet yet anti-bacterial smell and feels tingly on blemishes which I love because I know it's doing something. Lastly the Care Gel is also soothing and love using it under my make up as a bit of hydration, as it is a gel I know it won't make my oily/combination skin look greasy.

So far I am very much enjoying this range which you can find for sale here and I really like that it isn't expensive: Cleansing Bar £4,39, Facial Toner & Care Gel are £5.55 each.
I am already eyeing up the other two products in this range to finish of my collection.

I will be doing a follow up post in about a month to update you on how my new routine with these products is going and if I have seen an improvement in my skin.

Thank you for taking the time to stop by and read.
