Yo! Sushi Blogger Event || Plymouth Drake Circus...

I don't have it often but I absolutely love Yo! Sushi, it's a treat for me so when I recently got invited to a local Yo! Sushi blogger event I gladly accepted. I walk through Drake Circus everyday I go to work so usually end up craving Yo! Sushi quite often.

We were allowed to bring a plus one so naturally I brought my boyfriend along. Greeted with a cute glass of bubbly, we got sat in booths with the other bloggers and partners.

If you have never been to Yo! Sushi, most of the food goes round on a conveyor belt and you just grab a plate when you see what you like. If you want any of the warm food options, you simply press the button at your table and you can order with the person who serves you. When you're full of delicious sushi, your plates get added up, you pay and then leave gloriously happy.

Their pricing is very easy to follow as all the plates are colour coded, different colours are different prices, ranging from around £2 to £6. Or they do Blue Mondays where everything is one price which is usually when I end up going, see their other offers here.

If  you don't have time to sit down and eat, they also do takeaway options which taste equally as amazing. But if you want the full Yo! Sushi experience I would highly recommend taking the time to sit in and eat.

I already have a few favourites from going there a few times. Here are a few of the plates my boyfriend and I had. My boyfriend is quite new to sushi so I help him by pointing things out I know he'll like, sometimes he's brave and goes for something new and interesting.

Here's the link to their menu

My favourites include the California Hand Roll (2), Ebi Fry (3), California Rolls (4), Hoisin Duck Rolls (1). The bottom two are the Spicy Chicken Roll (6) and the Hoisin Duck Steamed Bun (7).

I also like the deserts they have, this time I went for the Apple Gyoza & Salted Miso Caramel which is pictured below (5), something I haven't had before and it tasted very good. I love that they do hot and cold food, I usually have a mix.

I really like the fact the food is made there and then in front of you. They source their fish sustainably and get it delivered daily so you know it's fresh.

I do hope you found this post useful and enjoyed the fun photos. I would definitely recommend going to your nearest Yo! Sushi and giving it a go. The staff are super nice and very helpful if you have any questions whilst you're there.

Lush || Spring Blogger Tea Party...

So Lush Spring Products have arrived...

I won't go into too much detail about them but I shall link all the products available to buy from their Mother's Day or Easter range. Like always this will be a very picture heavy post because Lush products are too pretty not to photograph.

Most of the products you do need a bath for but they have a few shower options too.

We were greeted with an Alice in Wonderland based tea party theme, with tiny cups, tiny macaroons and tiny chocolates.

E A S T E R...

Holy moly check out these amazing Golden Egg bath bombs! They're way too pretty to use, I would just want a nest of them on display all of the time.
Touch them once and you will be covered in gold glitter, not saying that is a bad thing!!

This delight has a surprise and you can split this into 3 baths to make it last longer. Crack it open and it has a baby chick bath bomb inside.

Humpty Dumpty sat on the wall,
Humpty Dumpty had a great fall,
All the King's horses and all the King's men,
Couldn't put Humpty together again.

A sad poem but in this case Humpty has a teenie tiny fried egg inside of him.

The Good Egg gift set looks super cute and has lots of treats inside...

Bunch of Carrots reusable bubble bars, I love the look of these, how colourful and fun they are.

Ultraviolet or as the Lush ladies named it, the Goth Rainbow (haha I think I prefer this name...)

Bouncy Bunny a super cute bunny shaped, orange scented shower jelly.

Fluffy Egg, which smells very similar to Snow Fairy a favourite of mine and it looks super cute.

Somewhere Over The Rainbow is a soap I didn't get a photo of.

Other Easter Gift Sets -

Easter Wrap - Easter Pals

M O T H E R ' S  D A Y . . .

I love this idea, I don't drink tea myself but I think a reusable bubble bar in the shape of a tea bag with surprise petals inside is super cute - Flowering Tea.

Check out this adorable little Ladybird bubble bar, almost too cute to use.

I'm super excited to use this Yummy Mummy shower gel, it smells glorious.

Rose Bombshell fizzes and has petals in the centre which burst out and leave you with a super pretty bath.

The Happy Mother's Day gift set has an amazing array of treats for any bath lover.

Lastly this Sunrise soap is a mandarin scented soap, I also can't wait to use this.

Other Mother's Day Gift Sets...

Mother's Day Wraps - Pretty as a Picture, Bright Bouquet.

I hope you enjoyed my colourful post and found the pictures useful.

Lush Blogger Event || Lush Summer...

A few days ago I was lucky enough to be invited to a Lush Blogger Event in my local Lush, Plymouth. When the email came through I immediately jumped at the chance. I love Lush, but usually only buy the products as a treat every now and then so was very excited to be invited to this.

As we arrived we were greeted with little Lush style 'cups' to drink from. They had bottles of tasty sparkling juice chilling in the ice with their fresh face masks.

There were nine of us and obviously I had to take a quick picture of myself there, with Leona jumping in on the action. #selfie

I have always loved how they set out their Fresh Face Masks...

This event was held for us so they could show us all their new summer goodies.
They demonstrated some of their products, from feet to head.

Starting with feet -

Their new hand products include -

Then came their new bath bombs, which make me a little sad as I don't have a bath so have never tried any. I do however plan on going round my parent's house and stealing (not literally) their bath for an evening.

Frozen (inspired by a well known recent fairytale...)

(I chose this one to try, I love space and looking up at the night sky)

Onto their new body scrub powder - Life's a Beach - this is what they call a Showder (a shower powder), made with Sea Salt and Sand which leaves a vanillary scent on your body.

I didn't get any photos of them but they showed us their new face mask and scrub...

And their amazingly unique oil-based-yet-matte moisturiser - Magical Moringa - something I have tried over the past few days as a moisturising primer on my oily/combination skin.
I shall be doing a full review on it soon.

Having grown my hair over the past year and a half from a pixie cut to now shoulder length locks, I was quite excited to hear about their new hot oil hair treatments. There are 3 different ones, each made for specific types of hair -

(I chose this one as I have curly hair, I can't wait to use it)

Here is a picture of my goodie bag, products they gave us to try. A very big thank you to them for organising this event and giving us so many treats.

For a shower product I chose The Comforter - a super sweet shower gel with a similar scent to their infamous Snow Fairy.

As an extra I decided to treat myself and buy my favourite Fresh Face Mask - Catastrophe Cosmetic - which you can read my review on here. And then I also got a sample of their Henna hair colour in Brun, I dye my hair a lot so I thought I should give something natural a go.

In our bags we got their booklet, which I took to work where I read through and drooled over all their products, my mental wishlist is growing rapidly.

Here is the photo Lush took of us at the end of the event... Go follow Lush on Instagram and Twitter - @lushplymouth @lushcosmetics

And if you wanted to follow me - @corinnafochler

Hope you enjoyed my post and that you go onto try some of their new summer line.
